Frequently Asked Questions
Are online PrEP appointments anonymous?
Our virtual appointments are discreet, convenient and secure. You are welcome to use whatever name you’d like to provide (eg. pseudonym).
We offer phone and video appointments and a health card is not required for those.
Do you offer swab testing to online patients?
Yes, every time! Our lab testing always includes throat and rectal swabs for gonorrhea and chlamydia screening.
For online patients, your prescribers will order swabs and other lab tests for you to complete at a convenient location. For in-person appointments, this testing is done in our office.
If I’m getting PrEP online with you, can I still come for in-person services too?
For sure! We are online for your convenience and in-person if you need us.
Get free sexual health vaccines, STI treatment, on-site testing, and more when you visit our clinics as a PrEP patient. Call or text us to book an appointment at one of our in-person locations in Toronto, Brampton or Ottawa.
How often should I get tested while on PrEP?
Once you start taking PrEP, you will undergo HIV testing every 3 months. We also test you for other STIs at this time.
If you want to get tested before your regular PrEP labs, you can schedule an earlier appointment. Or, visit one of our in-person locations to have a test completed on-site.
Can I get PrEP online with you if I don't live in Ontario?
At this time, we only offer PrEP services to Ontario residents or people currently in the province.
